Mothervine Wine Bar
Adelaide
Mothervine is a wine bar situated in Adelaide's East End on Vardon Avenue.
Creating memorable moments, by sharing our passion for food and wine. Mothervine is the perfect place to find Adelaide's best wine list, shared plates, featured wine flights, jazz every Sunday, and East End's favourite wine quiz night the first Wednesday of every month.
The name Mother Vine comes from a clone of Pinot Noir, the MV6, or Mother Vine. Originating from Burgundy's famous Clos Vougeot vineyard. It was part of the collection of grape vine cuttings brought to Australia by James Busby in 1832. It remains an important clone today in some of our finest Pinots. The Mother Vine connects Australia with France and Burgundy.
