Leaving the city, we head for the hills, first stop being Melba's Chocolate Factory on the way to Sir Hans Heysen's home and studio, The Cedars. Then on to Hahndorf to visit the Farm Barn to see a cow being milked and sheep shearing. Hillstowe is a well known Adelaide Hills winery and it's here that we have the chance to taste some wine and sample some local cheese before heading on to Cleland Wildlife Park to view Australian native animals up close and personal. From here we take the high road up to Mount Lofty Summit for a birds eye view over the city of Adelaide from the highest point in the hills. Returning to the city we make a quick stop at Montefiore Hill where we see what the statue of Colonel William Light is pointing to.
