Shearers Quarters – Rustic Charm with Room to Gather
The Shearers Quarters was a newly built 2010 retreat that combines modern comfort with the rugged charm of a working station. Designed for group stays, it offers a relaxed, spacious setting that captures the spirit of rural life—without sacrificing convenience.
Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with a large gas stove, microwave, and full-size fridge—perfect for preparing meals together. The adjoining dining room seats up to 16 and features a fireplace, creating a warm, communal atmosphere ideal for chilly evenings.
Step outside to shaded entertaining areas with a gas barbecue, or head up to the hillside fire pit—a striking, hand-carved space made for gathering under the stars.
Laundry facilities are located nearby in the camp shower block. Linen is available on request for a one-time fee and includes quilts, covers, pillows, sheets, and towels.
Whether you're a large family, a group of friends, or a special interest group, the Shearers Quarters at Almerta Station offers an authentic, comfortable, and memorable stay.
