Ever wondered what goes into running a sheep farm? Take a tour of Rawnsley’s
shearing shed to get a better understanding, before you head off across the station to
check water tanks, look for sheep, and get a feel for just how large 30,000 acres is!
Optional extra: visit the Woolwash creek on Upalinna Station to see where wool used
to be washed before it was processed and sent down to Adelaide. As you drive out
across paddocks, over stony creeks, and through mallee forests, your guide will
explain the history of pastoralism in the Flinders Ranges and the history of Rawnsley
Park Station. Enjoy views of Rawnsley Park, the Chace Range, and Wilpena Pound on
this snapshot of farm life.
Morning or afternoon tea provided.
