One Day Kangaroo Island Indigenous Tour

Join Mark Koolmatrie, a Ngarringjeri elder and tour guide, and experience Kangaroo Island like never before on this authentic Aboriginal expedition. Known to the Ngarrindjeri as Nurrungaui, the "place of Nurrunderi" or their revered creator, Kangaroo Island boasts a history as vast and varied as its landscapes.

Learn about bush foods and bush medicine on a walking tour of Penneshaw. Hear about the sealing industry through Ngarrindjeri eyes at Seal Bay Conservation Park. And at Flinders Chase National Park you will discover how Nurrunderi left this world and entered the Kalowinyeri to give the indigenous people life.

Tour includes return coach and ferry transfers, and a delicious two-course lunch and light dinner.

Operates: 6.40am to 10.30pm Wednesday from the Adelaide Central Bus Station, 85 Franklin Street (or selected Adelaide hotels).
