1. Men’s and Women’s Road Race 

The best international cyclists launch their seasons in South Australia – visiting wine regions, sparkling coastline and welcoming towns as they vie for crucial points. In 2023 the women’s race joined the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Women’s WorldTour: the highest level of professional competition, a move that takes it to the same top tier as the men’s event. DeTours is the Santos Tour Down Under’s all-inclusive day out, with air-conditioned bus transfers and brilliant food and beverage experiences. Get closer to the action, the entertainment and the athletes, exploring regions such as the Adelaide Hills, Barossa and Fleurieu Peninsula.

3. City of Adelaide Tour Village 

Whether you are a fan of cycling or festival fun, the free City of Adelaide Tour Village in central Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga is the place to be during each edition of the Santos Tour Down Under. It features music, entertainment for all ages and delicious South Australian food and drinks. There’s also plenty on offer for passionate cycling fans. All teams taking part in the Santos Tour Down Under are introduced to fans in the City of Adelaide Tour Village on the Friday night before racing begins. Balmy conditions are the norm, perfect for relaxing as hosts chat with riders on stage.
